I am SO over my swiffer.
Going back to the good ole broom and mop. Plus: less waste!
I'm an aspiring expat because I'd love to live out my life abroad. I used to travel, and I used to write about traveling. Now I'm done with law school, done with my bar trip, and trying my best to be an adult. My life is no longer defined by juvenile law school drama, neither is it defined by the craftiness and domesticness that I want it to be defined by. Hopefully this is interesting nonetheless.

Hey! I'm losing interest too. And I was a total convert when it was first given to me. A whole new world of cleaning promise. But I'm ready to let it go...
Last night, when I got home, I had rotten strawberry juice all over my floor. My dad bought me a thingie of strawberries from costco but they got all moldy before i could eat them. So I took them out of the fridge to throw away but i left them sitting on top of my garbage can when I left yesterday. Thus, the strawberry juice last night.
I thought, hey, this might be a perfect opportunity to use my swiffer again. I don't want to have to fill up a whole bucked just to mop three square feet of floor. So I used my swiffer. And it failed me so. The swiffer wet did nothing but swirl the strawberry juice around. And the swiffer dry left the floor sticky. So it was alternating between wet, dry, wet, dry. And still today, that part of the floor is sticky.
This may be the official death knell for my swiffer.
